The Maine Coast Heritage Trust, a nationally recognized leader in conservation, came to Ethos because they were having issues distinguishing their brand from the competition. Research indicated that their target audience was getting them confused with the Nature Conservancy. Worse yet many people in Maine thought they were a bank.
Over ten years, Ethos has worked with MCHT to differentiate their brand, provide powerful and consistent messaging and graphics, and develop brand awareness to support their fund raising. In the end our collaborative efforts with their internal communications and fundraising teams paid off – to the tune of 100 million dollars – the most successful capital campaign ever for an environmental group in Maine. MCHT worked with Ethos to create an emotional brand that speaks clearly and distinctly to their target audience – and it made a 100 million dollar difference.
